Worked in Indian Revenue Service (Customs and Central Excise) since 1987. Superannuated from IRS on 31st Jan, 2022. Extensive experience of Import-Export policies of India, legal work, law enforcement, policy making in the Ministry of Finance. Worked at the World Bank in Washington D.C. In the period 2006-09 worked on Doha round of trade negotiations at WTO, Geneva as Director, Ministry of Commerce. Represented India as negotiator at WTO, Geneva.
